Can't Equip or unequip Backpack

Hi There, i'm facing some trouble on this new build.

On my new sandbox to try this new build it seem like i can't equip a backpack on my back (I can on primary/secondary slot) or unequip the one i already got. (The little bonus you can get
with the sandbox option)

Long time i hav'nt play PZ, so to be sure ... Does you need to right click on your already equiped backpack on your inventory to unequip it ?

Because nothing happen, no scroll option at all...

Ps: I'm not using any mod.

yeah You need to unequip the one thats on your back. then right click the one You want to wear and select wear on back. other wise You're carrying the bag in your hands( primary and secondary slots= hands in this case)

Could you explain more info? What bag you were using and when exactly did it get stuck like that when you try to unequip it.
Do any errors (red boxes on the bottom right corner) come up?

I can't unequip it by right clicking on it in the inventory tab. Is this the way to go to unequip bags ?

I do not know of a different way than just rightclicking it and unequiping it. Or rightclicking it and equipping it as a primary.

Is your pack full of stuff that you want to unequip?

Nope my bag is empty, and if i right click on it nothing happen, the scroll menu doesn't appear.
I started a new game, i can equip a backpack on my back but then i can't unequip it.

I did have tried an another mouse. Not working
I checked my files. Nothing.
I watched the bug thread on the official forum but nobody seem to have the same thing.

What build are you playing on? Are you sure that there are no mods turned on?
Could you send your console.txt file after trying to rightclick the bag?

Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid
Open the console.txt
Copy everything from there to https://pastebin.com/

make sure you are right clicking on the bags in the area where your primary wepon and clothes ect are stored and not the bar on the side, that gets me every time lol

I just right-clik the bag icon over and over, i didn't even tried the one in the "weared section" item. (Long time havn't played)
But ... i think it's poor designed that you can't interact with the icon itself right in the inventory screen.

Not a bad idea at all.

Well if you can transmit it to developer i think it will not take long to do it. And it will be a bit more new comer friendly. ;)

I can't place more than 4 items into my backpack (it has 65 free space)
I can't pick up the bag even when empty.
I can't equip the bag to my back.

I call BS on the no mods part. No vanilla bags can carry up to 65 encumbrance. Even the largest backpack, Military Backpack, can only carry up to 36 encumbrance with Organized trait.

So check the mods first. Other than that, make sure your main inventory isn't reaching close to 50 encumbrance. The bag's normal encumbrance will be calculated against the total encumbrance limit of your character before you can equip it.

Or... Make sure you are trying to equip a backpack and not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cabinet.
