How can I save my server?
Hello, guys!

I want to test new build with vehicle, actually, I don't know how to do it, but I think, my old server with friends will be lost if I start a new version or something. I want to save my server.

How can I do it? I don't want any files to be corrupted or such, we played a lot of time together.

Oh... And now, when I try to start a server it says "the version of file in workshop is different" and I cannot start it. So, the server is gone? :(

UPD: Hm, now it started well. It's OK

It should automatically convert the server save to the new version. However, if you want to share your server save file or back it up just in case, you can find the save file in C:\Users\Yourusername\Zomboid\Saves\Multiplayer
It will be a folder named "servertest" and "servertest_player" or however you named your server settings.
You can just copy those folders to a safe location and if something breaks, you can just copy them back.

Thanks a lot! And what about those cars and stuff?

I actually think, that my server will not get lots of cars from nowhere. Or they will spawn?
I allready have some problems with new stuff spawning

That all depends on the respawn settings and if you have any custom maps / mods if you are playing on an older save.
And in the case of cars, you need to Uncheck the Enable Vehicles in the server settings, it is a bug in the current version, if you have it checked they will not spawn.

I have no vehicles option on my server... Maybe, I did not install it? What do I need to install? I have only Hydrocraft mod installed right now andit's on server.

When you switch to the vehicle build (I am assuming that you are using the Host button in the main menu for the server) you can then check the server settings from here and there is a Vehicles tab.
If you are hosting differently then you need to update the server files for vehicles + the server settings file.
Also using old saves on the vehicle build can be very buggy since there have been many changes.

Thanks a lot! That's why I wanted to backup my saves :)
