I worry cause it almost works too good, like if I could manage to keep a character alive longer than a few months on that diet of stuff I find in the woods, it'll be hard to keep em from getting underweight
Mostly chips / ice cream / cookies / sodas / peanut butter / high calories cooked food with honey or butter...up to around 78...then full stop
Only vegetables, on the verge of starvation
Weight will still usually raises up to 79-80 where i want it to stabilize
Then, i eat only low calorie food (mostly pure vegan)
If before going to bed, i see the arrow down, i eat chips or the like until the arrow disappears
If arrow is up... not a lot to do, starvation next day (very rarely because low calories food is main food)
I avoid hearty apetite trait as it needs 50% more food a day, which is also 50% more calories intake..
Playable, but a pain to stabilize weight without going over
I just ate 1 cabbage and my guy is at 2x faster height gaining wtf?
Then use berries to push off hunger through the day, eating a hearty meal once or twice a day, usually giving me 90-100 hunger reduction each.
Fish and hard work (while only living off fish), or chop so much wood and live off berries will take that weight right off.
Have you called your character Negan the Vegan?
All you need to do is farm and keep the above mentionend in mind.
Last but not least I would not try to maintain a certain amount of kg, rather try to float within the range of what is considered normal since you dont need to concentrate then on what you eat, but rather how you eat.

In a nutshell: eat vegetables to lose weight, eat packaged food you find around in buildings to gain weight.
Cabbage has the most calories among veggies, you can't eat very much without gaining weight tho,
but you could eat radish all day everyday as much as you can stuff in, and still losing weight.
