Yeah its puddles. I have set dynamic puddles off for now, because the stuttering was a bit annoying. Im sure it will get sorted soon.
Too rare to be of any practical use
For generators, either you find the book (mostly in garages) or you level electricity tp 3
If i cant find the book and cant level electricity to 3, i head for the railyard near Muldraugh
There are generally quite a few there
So far I found 3 boxes of jars/lids, 4 packs of sugar and 1,5 bottles of vinegar.
1 full bottle of vinegar can make 3 jars of vegetables, I could only make 4 jars before I ran out of vinegar and I'm not planning on massive roadtrips from the farms north-west from riverside all the way to westpoint or the farms to the south, which means the overwhelming majority of the harvest will rot away.
Vinegar is by far the most limiting resource for canning food, as it stands it's not a viable tactic for stocking up for winter. Pasta and rice are also a bit too rare to my taste, while on the other hand canned food is too abundend, I have 3 cupboards packed with canned food and junk food that stays good. If the devs lowered the amount of canned food a bit while raising the amount of perishable food + pasta/rice + vinegar in house kitchens, it would stimulate players to hunt for a generator and also make jarring/farming your own food more nescessary.
Lets be honest, many raw materials seem to be rare :D WHERE IS MY FLOUR! I managed to find 3 bottles of vinegar from a single shop in muldraugh... BUT! I have yet to find flour from anywhere.
