Do bite wounds heal?
Even with infection disabled?

In that scenario, they should. If not I would consider it a bug.

I found a bug then :D ive stayed alive well fed, clean, happy, swapped bandages and sterlized them, bites have remained on my body for over 8 days now and they effect how well i am able to swing, without any negative moodles or other damages to my body.

Yeh I tried that setting too until I realised that "Bitten" remains as a wound that doesn't heal so you need to keep dressing it with bandages. No way I was going to keep playing like that.

Havent tried 'no infection' in B41

But in previous builds, bites in 'no infection' were healable
It took a very long time, but they disappeared

Ill try to ride it out then, maybe another week or two and it will go away

If it does not, you can always enable cheat mod for 5 seconds, heal yourself and then disable the mod.

Well, search for, 'cheat menu' in workshop. Download it and enable in the opening menu. Then join the game, right click on random spot on screen and choose, 'heal yourself'. Now go back to main menu by exiting current game and disable the mod again. That should be all you need to do.

This probably sounds more confusing than it actually is.

Little question here i dont want to open for this a new discussion^^

Ive climbed trough a window and seconds after that a zombie attacked me and i heard this flesh sound as when you get bit.
My first thougts were "♥♥♥♥ youre dead"

After i killed the zombie i checked my health and it says nothing.

I weared a police jacket. Did the jacket protect me from the bite?

It's still better not to get bit at all but if it's gonna happen then having those jackets and even a bullet-proof vest, these will mitigate the % chance. When I have full protection I definitely have less occasions where I end up "Bitten".

Yep, 'armored' clothes protect you...at the cost of the cloth being damaged

If you check the protection tab, you will see a part of the cloth missing protection
This is where you would have been hurt without it

It will save you quite often

Anyone else get a laugh at the how the bites directed towards your pants always seem to remove "Groin" protection first? Those devs have a wicked sense of humour lol
Ficelle Oct 26, 2019 @ 6:56am
These zombies for sure are agile to hit the groin

They will heal, they do take a long time though, have tested the situation thoroughly.

Yeah the new clothes protection is great. I run around in a firemans out fit. The jacket has saved me from so many bites. But unfortunately I finally got bit. I didn't realise the whole sleeve had been removed from the jacket. So keep an eye on the confition
