The hard hat is OP in my opinion. 100% face and head protection should be for something like a riot helmet or motorcycle helmet. Both of which I dont think are in game.
Motorcycle helmets are in the game. I managed to get a snazzy blue one with lightning bolts on the side.
Good to know. Haven't come across one yet. Saying that, I'm on a current 6 day play through (apocalypse) and haven't found one decent bag. Running around with a damn plastic bag at the moment. The loot randomness can be very unforgiving.
I only found a alarm clock one week in my last game. Well I assume it's been around that much time, since I still haven't found a digital watch.
As for backpacks the best place so far for me are locker rooms. The ones usually attached to a public shower, I found a bag in almost every single one of them. I also found some in sports stores.
I don't know the map well enough yet to know where to find a locker room or sports shop. I have memorised a small section around the doctors (cortmans) and grocery store.
I keep finding watches on zombies though. Haha. One time I heard this beeping and couldn't figure it out. The watch had an alarm.
Thanks man. I'm out west at the mo, but I will wonder up there shortly. I keep finding great gear but without a bag I have to leave it. Living a little more nomadic this playthrough, to learn the map.
