How to get gas if there is no more electricity?

Currently I have power and water but how to get gas if power off?

Without mods, you'll only get it searching.
With mods, you can use the generator to turn on a gas station and get gas ( it's not infinite ! )

Oh, it's sad that it's impossible to simply siphon gas from the gas station without mods. I've just bought the game and want to play some time without mods.

You could jump into the vehicle build and then you'll be able to siphon from other vehicles sitting around as well.

You can survive for a long time without power. Plenty do it.

Most wilderness-living strategies involve that.

The vanilla game is 'simple realism'. Realistically, you wouldn't have infinite gas unless you were smart enough to know the processes to just MAKE MORE.

Vanilla game cuts off before the 'make more' part. You could get a mod like Hydrocraft to enable kind of thing, though. Hydrocraft is like 'real' realism, lol. So much stuff you can do and make...

If you are playing on the Vehicle Test branch, and don't want to use the "Pump Power" mod, then here is what you SHOULD do: go to every gas station there is BEFORE the electricity shuts off (it would be best to do this at the very start of your game), fill up every single gas can you can find, grab a car and take your gas cans, go around and fill up every single car you find with gas, after that's done go back and fill up all your gas cans again.

Since you can siphon gas from cars, they'll effectively act like stationary gas cans. Congratulations, you now have a RIDICULOUS amount of gas all over the map whenever you need it :)

I'm doing the same thing that you mentioned above :) This game is so addictive...

Set up a generator next to the petrol pumps at a service station,

In sandbox you can change how generators power areas which will let you power a gas pump

And by default, they always let you.

you no need mods... You have to have checked the option "set up generator outside" in Sandbox

You can put a generator near the post in a gas station and it can pump again gas....

This is true. However that wasn't the case at the time of the OP. At that time you had to use the mod for it and it was added as a feature later in the year.
