Can't open options menu

I installed the game on a new computer and it opens and runs just fine. But I want to make adjustments to the options settings. However when I click on options nothing happens. I can open mod tabs, close the game and start a game without difficulty. I removed the game a couple times and reinstalled it, still having the same issue. Any ideas?

Go to %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid.

Right click on each of the ProjectZomboid*.exes (red and black egg)

Left click Properties from the menu.

Under the Compatibility tab, disable DPI scaling for System (enhanced).

This will work for many applications, not just PZ.

Hopefully this will help.I assume the scaling messed with a piece of the screen, and this could fix it.

That seems to have worked. I had no idea that DPI could affect just one menu. I could play the game and everything, just not open the options screen in the game. THANKS!
