Is Muldraugh that bad?
Heya, I'm yet new, and I just started out in Muldraugh, I feel like every building is guarded by 10+ zombies, and if I put up a fight, 30 more comes from all directions, no matter where do I go from my current position, I get swarmed at every step, any tips, or.. is just Muldraugh like that? What about other cities:?

It depends on the game settings, if you`re new, i would suggest you play first week mode.

oh, I play sandbox, because I want it without zombie infection. I like fair challenge, but building something for a week of playing, and then losing it because of one bad swing which doesn't hit zombie and he bites me.. well.. eeeeeh. But all settings should be default.,

Means you play "Survival". This is the hardcore mode, zeds will be all over the place, more in cities of course. Anyway Muldraugh is a good place to live. Not to many zeds and all you need is avaible.

Well, kinda yeah. Once you wipe out those 30 zombies... then you have a breather for quite some time. They do migrate but it is not that bad afterwards.

Muldraugh is a city
By default, zombies density is quite high in cities

Still, Muldraugh is ok, especially the area with all those mansions bordering the forest near Cortman Medical...great and very safe place to settle while close to everything, close to the only water pond too
Probably the most balanced city of them all

Westpoint is bigger and much more heavily populated
Riverside, somewhat like Muldraugh , havent played too much there
Rosewood is more quiet, but much smaller too

Still, no matter what, dont expect empty cities with only few zombies here and there as easy kills

You have to choose your fights, when to fight and when to run away, learn how to pull and herd zombies, how to lose them by breaking line of sight, when you can afford to be noisy and when to keep quiet
Use sneak a lot...being noisy (running...) is the best way to attract every zombie around

Now, keep in mind this game is quite hard

Muldraughs actually the largest city right now I'm pretty sure. Despite that West Point is more densely packed.

Yep, you right, Muldraugh is bigger, because the town is more scattered than Westpoint

I still think Wespoint is 'bigger' in number of buildings, not that it matters a lot anyway ;D

The thing with Muldraugh is that it's more or less the starting spawn point for most of the zombies on the map ( specifically it's highway on the west side ). So whenever you create a map, that thing is jam packed with z's and as soon as meta events start happening around you - they will be moved closer to your location.

If you want yourself an easier time\calmer location, consider going to more rural areas. Like there's a pretty neat house on the east of muldraugh, that a lot of players use as their base. I could point it out on a map if you'll be interested.

P.S. I do happen to know of a server that has more or less default settings with infection turned off, so if you fancy - give me a shout via friend request.
Same applies if you need tips or if you're stuck on something.

Well, I found a solution. I rode over all of the zombies with my car, for some reason, only thing that got damaged after riding over those 200 zombs were lights O.o Now can I get an answer - why is singleplayer lagging when there are many corpses around? I mean.. not like FPS, its like, the zombies sometimes get hit and die and they stand on a place, stuck in animation, refusing to die, or.. I hit them and they get dmg after half minute, or same effect on me, its annoying, especialy if you are on military base / prison where are hundreds of them

Killing stuff with a car is generally not as reliable unless you go full speed\using a heavy duty vehicle, like a van. The stuck in animation thing happends when you kill a crawler ( zombie that crawls along the ground instead of walking ) as soon as it lunges from the "play dead" state to attack you. That happends way more often on a car.

That shouldn't happen? Unless you get damaged by something else and just don't notice it ( back damage via loot overload, for example ). You'll have to describe that bit more.

The 'lag' (delayed damage...) in singleplayer is not normal, not to this degree anyway
Ive never experienced even a 1 second delay...

Now, 'many' zombies / bodies around will slow down the game, potentially to a crawl
CPU would be the bottleneck, as it is more about heavy calculations than display

'Many' depends on the computer power of course
A potato will struggle with just some tens while a good computer will handle hundreds without any problem

A way to alleviate the problem is to allow corpses to disapear after a set period of time (off by default...)
Otherwise, they will accumulate over time
