Why won't this car start (video)?
I got key, gas, and battery, but the engine light keeps going orange but not starting.... See video:

If this were a real car I would think the spark plugs need changing but I dont think that's a thing in PZ. Is it because the engine health is too low? Thanks for any help.

Sounds like the battery is probably flat. There's both "battery condition" and "battery charge". The condition is fine, but charge is probably empty. If you're playing 6 months later, most (if not all) batteries start flat. So you'll need a car battery charger and a power source. https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Car_Battery_Charger

That sound you are hearing trying to start the car is saying your battery is dead. Remember a battery has a condition and a charge level. Bring up the mechanic menu and select the battery to see the charge level. If 9% or under for a charge then your battery is dead. Additionally engine quality also degrades so a low quality engine may not start at all either. Have to download a mod for the ability to repair engines.

Best way to find a charged battery is to check crashed cars on the road. Then take the battery back to the car you want to take. If you have power at home you can also hook up a battery charger on the floor to recharge batteries. Chargers can be found in gas stations or garages.
