is this game like fallout 1 and 2

i do not own this game but im thinking about getting it. i like playing the original fallouts it seems similar but i dont want to buy it and only play it once

It is nothing like them apart from the isometric view, this game is a survival (more like postponing your death) zombie game played in real-time. You have to manage your health, hunger, thirst, all that jazz. It also doesn't have a story or even NPCs (apart from the zombies).

You can make use of Steam's refund policy if you end up not liking it within the first two hours.

The similarities to Fallout 1 and 2 are mostly in perspective.
We are not a round-based RPG either.

When looking for something more aching to the old Fallout games, I think you might end up liking NEO Scavenger:

Not really much like 7DTD either. We have zombies in common, but different approaches in game mechanics.
I think describing our game as a Zombie Apocalypse / Walking Dead Simulator would be more accurate.
If you know Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead, we'd be more approachable light version to it, similar to how Rimworld could be described as the more approachable light version of Dwarf Fortress.

Someone did make a HD mode for Fallout 2 and you could multi-player it also.
