Radio frequencies?

I noticed after surviving for almost a month in the game that there are no longer any television programmes being shown or any radio talkshows on either, is this because the quarantine has failed and the virus has spread?

Are there any "secret" radio channels? A military or government emergency channel i could still listen to and get some information?

Could you share a few? Or are they random? I found a military ham radio, i'd like to listen to something with it, i'm not sure how, all the frequencies seem to be just dead air.

I have found HAM radios and walkie-talkies pre-programmed to certain channels that aren't the standard radio stations and they sometimes have chatter on them when you turn them on.

Wow. I never knew there were secret frequencys in the game. But yeah it could be the zombie virus has spread which is really likely because of how hard it would be to contain.

I just tuned into pawstv as it was the only one still broadcasting and I was only half paying attention cooking food when it starts saying good night over and over and then went to color bars

Sounds like something from a british TV series i saw a while back that was zombies in a tv station on a set of Big Brother or something like that..Neat concept if i do say so myself :) All starts due to a guard letting in someone who's dying in a van..

The most fun i had with the radio was a NNR broadcast 4-5 days after the infection, it was a refrence to the 2012 movie. a crazy radio guy that just talked about the beauty of the apocolypse and startet talking about the great era of the raccoon spiffo. very fun little easter egg.
