Carpentry and two tile furniture

Hi folks. So, I am a bit off a noob and have to questions:

So, after my first day I found the almost perfect base. A big house with only one drawback: There´s a huge glass garden door. So I thought about it and came up with a solution: I pick a the big drawer (don´t know how the game calls it - a two tile furniture) and out it in front of the door, since it seems I cannot hang sheets on it. So I worked and get an item - light wooden drawer. Looks a bit like an IKEA case. Great I thought, i can ttake it now and rebuild it in front of the door.
I right clicked on it like hell, but I find no option to actually reassemble it. Is it possible and how.

2) The i thought I build a wooden fence. How can I turn those things when I want to build them, so I can put it in front?

3) Is there another way to blind that doors? Sheets doen´t seem to work. Should I - hehehe - paint it black or something.

I thought about dissassembling the doors and build new wooden one, but it is day 2, got no time and resources for that.

I have got other questions and will open threaeds for it. Sorry if I spam to much.

1. Drop ALL but one tile of multiple tile furniture on the ground where you want to assemble it. Have the last piece of that furninture in your main inventory. Click on the furniture icon on the left window (pickup, place, rotate) and select place. You can now place the furniture in that spot. Before you release the button to reassemble the furniture, you can move your mouse around to select its facing direction.

2. Press the 'R' key.

1. Oh I get it now. Am I right I should have two IKEA cases. Because I only got one and a plank. So I assume one half is broken?

3. Nevermind, the sheets did work. I tried again and the option came up. My original question was if there´s another way to blind doors instead of sheets, but now they have worked. Thank you very much.

1. You would be correct, you broke one of the pieces if its a two piece set.
