Where to set up base in westpoint?

Where are good places to make bases/safehouse's

Follow the railroad tracks out of town to the down and right. When it crosses a river, the bit of land your on hardly ever spawns a zombie. I always found that to be a good place to build a base. And your still very close to WP for looting. (down and right of the gun shop).

The camp site south of town is nice, but if you like in town living, the apartments above the food mart is my favorite West Point location (it has a nice deck).

I just got out and went to the picnic site south of town. Not sure if that's the same one mentioned above. It's far enough away that you don't have to worry about more than a few zombies ever wandering in. Plenty of wood around for construction. Close enough to town that you can get in easy enough, especially with a car. Gas station conveniently located nearby as well.
