1. Slow down. Stop rushing. If you are in go go go mode you will get careless and make mistakes, those mistakes will kill you.
2. Crouch - The old sneaking system is gone, this one is much better. If you are wondering why every zombie in the neighborhood is hot for you, it's because you are either not crouching, or you are sprinting like some kind of maniac.
3. Stop trying to be the elite zombie killer. Avoid conflict if possible. If you have to fight kill one zombie at a time, if you pull more than two you can sprint while crouched, do that and kite them around a building, pull away and re-approach
4. Don't take any traits that make you easier to see. Such as clumsy or inconspicuous. Sure this will make the game harder, but if you are just learning these traits will make your life hell
5. Do not take claustrophobic! It will be impossible to sleep at night without beta blockers.
Above all else, stay crouched. Crouch is your bff.
:D
Ah but there is no honour in fire. As a burnt zombie doesn’t add to the kill count. Though I have never made campfires I have done this with Molotov on multiple occasion.
i feel ya, i usully wont use fire at all.
