Lore-wise, it's been about a week since the infection began, so still being in your character's profession clothing wouldn't be realistic.
Also, Overpowered, as immodium mentioned.

aren't protected more from bites/scratches than say someone in normal shirt, etc. Game has those clothes in but they aren't selectable in the creation.
You should make kevlar/armors thing object of hype etc, not typical outfits for park rangers/police.
Bite Protection OP is not the primary reason, its to add value to the clothing looting game.
I know bite protection is important, but what I am saying is that in otherwise realistic game, this isn't realistic that such uniforms are more resistant to bites. Police uniforms like on photo above aren't more resistant to bites. Again, you should make things like armors object of hype, finding military grade armors or kevlar uniforms, or hell, anything else that protects better. Right now those police sets should be selectable in the creation menus in order to allow for single player roleplay.
Considers getting a sweet hat, and resistant clothing.
