I don't get the point of the SP game.
I kill zombies, then I collect resources, then I kill zombies, then I collect resources. Nothing else to do.
Maybe there is another way to enjoy it? :/
Oh, its about bettering your position or " life ". Build a base, explore the whole map. Try farming or whatever other features the game offers.
Have you played long enough to have the electricity go out ?
Have you been to a really zombie populated area like the mall ?
Have you started using firearms yet ?
Wow enlighten us, please you are a Guru
Yes, it's fun the first time, but then?
You know where I want to go with my words.. to that feature that devs don't want to implement.
It's not realistic a world where I'm the only human. It would be fun to have other characters, random encounters or events, something that really could change your gameplay every time and keeps you enterteined.
It's since Alpha 13 that I miss this feature, and what I see here, it's a waste of potential.
But you're right, there is a fantastic base for an exceptional survival.. but at this point, why don't improve it with the last step?
I keep to don't understand all this.
PS = Try to imagine DAYZ, and play it OFFLINE.
Do you think it's fun? Probably not, isn't it? And why? ;)
Well, dayz is not a very good example lol. There is not that much zombies, surviving with food and water is sooooooooo easy, way too easy.
But if you play with friends you can have fun !
Also, try to upgrade all your skills to the max level !
Add hydrocraft mod !
If you're an electrician, you can build yourself a solar panel with time and skills ! I never played enough to go there but this is something probably worth to try !
Still with hydrocraft, you can build a lot of more stuff ! (Dont eat food from the mod if you have the nutritionnist traits though, you'll die)
There is a lot to do without NPCs and dynamic events.
You can even try new map !
Try to start a character with sprinter zombie on winter with the helicopter event every week !
Challenge yourself, you will find fun in this game believe me !
But take time to enter deep in the survival stuff, you'll have fun !
As for a comparison DAYZ´s concept was multiplayer from the beginning. I´d rather compare it to Dwarf Fortress. Another game where the fun lies in the endless ways you defend yourself and get lucky ... or die.
I asked him if hes done the really hard late game stuff and he said " yes ".......
I did too, just ignore them.
So to clear things up why dont you list some things youve done in game.
If you want help it'd be nice to know what youve already done.
Any screenshots or videos of epic hoardes ?
What type/location bases have you built ?
Firearms youve used frequently ?
What different maps have you played ?
What settings do you play at ?
You know, brag on yourself : )
This small game can turn people really addictive (yes im talking about me)
I have almost 200 hours, and i have not even reach 2 month of survival. Im always trying new things, new base, new character, new traits, new survival tactics.
Didn't even tried to take a guns and shoot a lot of zombies (i prefer to play stealthy)
There is a LOT to do in this game, just explore !
Isn't the graphic the problem, not even the inventory or the objects, or even the combat system.
There is something missing in the map. Roads are too empty.. :(
