How to lose weight?
I started a MP game with nutrition on and picked the obese trait. Sleeping is disabled.

I get 10 free points in exchange for not having to eat? Sounds good on paper.

Now all I need to do is lose that weight, which is harder than I anticipated.

I tried not eating for a few days, until I got the "starvation" moodlet, yet my weight remains at a steady 105.

What is required to start losing weight in this game?

Could the mod "hydrocraft" be interfering?

I never really did understand the Weight numbers and what is good and bad.

The only time I EVER see the weight change is during sleep. So perhaps its a bug, since you have sleep turned off.

Try eating low calorie foods like vegetables, avoid all junk food.

Tried eating some berries and vegetables, still no go.

As far as I've been able to tell weight is controlled by a combination of food, activity and time. Try eating vegetables and getting your character tired by runnning around, chopping trees, etc for a few days.
I've actually got a problem with my character in that she goes from over weight to under weight several times each month. If she eats to loose weight she becomes under weight, but when she eats to gain weight she becomes over weight, it's infuriating.

Picked this trait, too, and got rid of it by:

-) only eating when really hungry, permanently stayed a bit hungry
-) ate only veggies and salad whenever possible (no chips/donuts/chocolate etc.)
-) did a lot of lumberjack work and carrying stuff over my weight limit -> careful, not too much, might hurt your back

This will take some time (like in real life), keep an eye on your character stats, you´ll see the weigt decreasing slowly by some 1/10 kg´s.

P.S.: i also use Hydrocraft, no problems with that.
