Best combination of positive and negative traits?
I'd like to see your guys' choice of positive and negative traits that make up a badass survivor.

basically traits that give you passive skills. since you can learn everything else. that would be: fast learner, dexterous, fast healer etc like those

Smoker trait makes you cool and badass

It really depends on how you want to play. I usually take strong or stout, for more damage and carrying capacity, dextrous, lucky and maybe inconspicuous and/or graceful for a little better stealth. So I'm generally a stealthy brawler type focused on looting as much as I can in as few runs as possible.

Nice one - haha. I am going for that trait next play through

What amktrk said, if you are planning on surviving for the long haul the traits that give you other benefits besides +1 to skills are the best since once you have maxed a skill the +1 are worthless.

They only really reduce your time on 1 skill, fast learner give you a +30% buff to all skills i believe. I always take dexterous now as well and i cant play without it.

The best negative traits to take are, weak stomach, high thirst, and hemophobic as their effects are mostly unnoticeable.

I have tried smoker lately and i would prefer hearty apetite as it smoking is just another thing to keep tabs on while hearty apetite just consumes more food which isnt that hard to come by.

If you are on a busy MP server though the +1 skills can be useful as you may die alot to other players.

From what I've learned it's +30% of base modifier - if you have starting skill at level 0 you only get 25% of skill points, with fast learner you get 30% more of that 25% which is in total 32,5%

Negatives -

1) Very underweight

2) Hydrochandric

3) High thrist

4) slow reader

5) prone to illness

6) slow healer

7) weak stomach

8) hemophobic

I think that's all of the negative traits I use.

Positive traits

1) Thick Skinned

2) Outdoorsman

3) Brawler

4) Fast Leaner

5) Dexterous

6) organized

I think those are all of the positive traits I use.

I'm a park ranger as well.

I am overweight ín game.
It gives +6 point and you can remove that trait by not eating anything.

Poor fat bastard...

The problem with overweight is if your not careful, zombies can easily catch you. If you can survive that hurdle, then your good to go.
chernobylite Nov 5, 2017 @ 1:26am
I always go with no job, tough skin, and resilient with no additional points to skills
chernobylite Nov 5, 2017 @ 1:26am
Oh and slow reader
