how to use global chat?
i bought the game today and joined a server. i was trying to type in chat but it kept saying local next to my name and whatever i say doesnt pop up in the global chat. help???

In any game, that's the first thing I go for. That way I'll know ahead of time.

Some servers may not allow global chat, so keep that in mind as well.
