UI Elements Missing

So I was watching someone play this on twitch and figured it looked pretty good so I decided to give it a shot myself.

I've done the tutorial (in the demo), and when I did the tutorial this time around in the full game - the UI blip things in the top right which show what you're feeling etc weren't showing up.

I started a new custom game, same story here - I can mouse over where there are to see tooltips, but the icons aren't there to show there is actually anything wrong with my character. Also - various containers don't show what is in them until I click into the window - like If want to see what a bookshelf holds - I click the bookshelf but the black inventory box to the right of your own inventory doesn't show the items inside until i've clicked in the box (which generally transfers an item to my inventory blindly), not ideal.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the way it was on what i've seen on streams and youtube - any ideas what up with mising UI elements then? Makes it a bit difficult / irritating to play :s

I'm running an nVidia card yeah, but now that you mention it - It is probably worth mentioning that i'm running on an old GTX460 atm due to my 770 dying a month or so back :/

That 460 works perfectly with whatever else I play mind - graphical bugs etc aren't something I encounter using it, even if is dated.

I guess I never updated my drivers when I reinstalled my 460. I wont lie - I was pissed that my 770 died and I just wanted ANYTHING to work at the time lol, so I was pretty hasty with setup. It seems that updating those drivers may have fixed the issue(s).

I've gone back into the game and that character now has the inventory visible of containers i'm looting, the mood bubble thingies are visible, and the speed settings (which I didn't even know existed - not visible in previous screenshots >.<) are shown.
