GHOSTS!?

I was Playing Coop with a friend of mine. I ran inside a house and then the whole F#cking house started ghosting like hell!? Doors that got spammed open and shut, Lights on and off! then the sink made the drinking sound 5 times in a row (no one there) I left the house (because i was ♥♥♥♥ scared after that) But I ran by an other house and Random out of no where the windows i ran past Shatterd! And if i was not getting an heart attack already zombies i found just got randomly shot, By Nothing!? No gun sound or anything but the blood on the floor and walls outside where those of a fire arm. So some one please explain to me what da hell is going on!?
Edit: Btw it was not my friend because he was shooting zombies a street down the block
and he is not smart enough to troll with administrator powers

Your "friend" could have been using the administrator account to do exactly what you describe to you. The administrator is invisible.

The guy's an experienced player and isn't a scrub. But well... This does sound weird. Idk. I could swear I've seen a survivor once while playing in singleplayer a few months ago locking himself inside a bedroom, but when I got there, the bedroom was empty

Well, lets put it this way. I have only seen this 'reported' once before, and its only been in multiplayer with another 'friend' playing.

If you can say you actually saw your friend playing along side of you, and nobody else was on the server, then I might be convinced it was not your friend.

If you were by yourself at the time, then your friend was having fun with you.

I have had a friend do something like this, but I knew he was there (even though I could not see him). He even spawned a little zombie horde around me. It was pretty fun.
