It's matter of limitions of oneself. I can handle three to five zombies when unarmed and perfer to go solo.
Lol, I'm not sure I can pick traits for myself.
You pick traits when you create your character.
Hopefully you aren't trolling anyway but what I mean is myself, looking at the screen playing Project Zomboid. I'm scared while playing the game.
Pick agrophobia(?) and you get scared going outside. There is one for being scared when indoors. There is one for being scared when you see any zombies. (opposite of brave)
You can also be scared if you have contracted the zombie virus.
Ok, atleast I know what you are trying to do lol
This game is a fun but scary survival game where one wrong move will make you have to start all over, this makes your life valuable, and not dying kinda important:p ESPECIALLY if your trying to get your fecking Contruction to 7+ and you keep getting killed at 6...
Once you get so good that it's not scary, probably time to up the difficulty or find something else to do ingame.
Now, if it's just too scary on normal difficulty (let alone some of the hard core options) you can always set the difficulty lower in the sandbox settings and try an easier version with weaker & fewer zombies, no zombie disease transmission, and more loot... among other settings to make it less stressful. It's only a game, a sandbox game at that. Have fun!
Willie, the OP means that they themselves are scared IRL, not their character in game.
