How to cure devils fungus....and yes,as the title says, you can do it.
Heres how...

Its all about the water....use cabbages as since they are about the only crop that people will stay awake long enough to see thru to its harvest.

First step, plant inside,or at least under a roof.NO rain must fall on the crop....none.

Second step, this applies to cabbages, differs for other crops.Right after planting water til "fine'.I do it by doing a 50 and then moving up til it says "fine".Do NOT water past fine.IF you water past fine, devils fungus will show up.
Yes,thats right,if you water correctly, you can even avoid having your crops even get devils fungus at all.

Third step, watch your crops like a hawk. This could mean 15 or so hours of straight "play".You need to cure any flies or mildrew immediately.if you dont, they can cause dwf very fast.

Okay,so lets review so far...isolate plants from rain,so you can fully control the water flow to them.NEVER water them beyond "fine".Watch them like a hawk, and cure any of the other 2 diseases when they show up.

Now,lets say you screwed up....watered to much or let a disease go uncured too long, and you now have dwf.As the title says, you can cure it.All you have to do,is cure any of the 2 normal deseases the crops have, and let the water level of the plant drop to fine or less.As long as the water level remains fine or less, and the plants remain free of the other 2 diseases, the devils fungus will slowly die.If you caught it early enough, you can get rid of dwf in a few days.

of course, dont let your water levels get to low.....and as stated earlier, the water level varies depending on the crop.

there ya go.enjoy.fear dwf no longer.

This does work, ive help test it.Had over 6 planting of at least 10 crop placements, and was able to avoid and or defeat dwf each for each full harvest.

You given a solution to avoid the disease and it's not a cure.

sigh,reread....

This all sounds too complicated. I usually just plant more than I know I'll need and check periodically to see if it's diseased, then dig up the stuff I can't cure and replace it with new seeds.

Why should I? The solution is simple: don't overwater. Besides...

Like this player said and it's a quick solution. When I see devil fungus, it's uprooted. PURGE! EVERYTHING!

Like he said in the original post, if you catch Devil water early, eliminate Mildew and Pest flies and keep water levels normal, the DWF will die off instead of growing.

Its not a "Spray" cure, but it works :)

Tested last night, although I did go to bed, but had other Island colonists checking my crops

Thanks for the tips, @Tempest, I thought the only way to get rid of it was to leave the plot empty for a while, or dig it up.
this will help alot! but i have a irrigation mod that auto waters it and i dont think i can control how much it waters, but i dont think it is working
