bites will heal normally like any other injury if you do not get infected or play with infection disabled (they will heal even if you do get infected actually, but you generally wont survive long enough for that.)
the zombie infection isnt affected by bandages, antiseptic, or anything, its a direct percentage when you get injured if you are infected, and there is and will never be a cure.
But easy to survive. If you have lots of food, and stay well fed, your health will not lower. And you can sleep, to regain health. When you wake up, eat until your well fed again.
I survived a month with the zombie infection, before I got bored of having to eat all the time. lol
i am not sure about that, i never survived a scratch, nor anyone in my survivor group, except for one man, ian, that drunk brawler, i saw many friends die of infection slowly, and i was waiting there next to them, to kill them when they where about to become infected.
now on me, i never survived a scratch, i always died of them, so i would suggest that it is a 10% chance of surviving a scratch, not 75%, that number seems impossible to me.
While me and my friends survived numerous scratched in our playtime, we have yet to survive a bite.
keep in mind this was the 3rd time i was playing and i wasnt very familiar.so dont flame me for being ♥♥♥♥ xd
Of course, I also have over 1000 hours on the game.
Ya, I always suspected something like that but all these reports from people that claim to have survived a bite made me unsure.
So your wrong to think it is always fatal. Even if you think you looked at the code for it. A vast majority of the time it's fatal, but not 100%.

Thick and Thin Skinned only apply to regular infections, NOT zombie infections. NOTHING in the game can decrease the zombie infection chances. That myth needs to die.
If so, then it is very missleading.
