will we have a "kill yourself" feature?
with animation and variety. Altough hydrocraft has one, it is very underwhelming, so i was wondering if the devs would try to implement one of their own.

There kinda is already one. You can drink bleach. Or overdose on medication.

As there are cars ingame now this might be an option for killing yourself, too. Not actually by driving yourself but as a selectable point in the options when you´re in a car.
I imagine those that wanted to kill themselves have done so already, and that you are a survivor who would not be prone to offing themselves so easily.
If you really want to off yourself, walk into your friendly zombie hoard and give them all a hug.

Yeah, I understant that. I was just saying all the loosers that wanted to kill themselves would have done so at the start of the outbreak.

But if a system were implemented like 'depression', then perhaps if your depression meter gets too high, the game will force the player to kill themself. That would be good.
i doub't it, peaple will try to survive first(considering the age period), with time they might lose hope in the desolate land they find themselfs in, get depressed, and comit suicide, it doesn't need to be only in the beggining of the outbreak.

as an example i was playing with survivors, and one was my wife, we got chased by sprinters and she was slower than me, so she got horded and was devoured while i ran away with haf the town after me.

i was finally surrounded in a building where i locked mysel in the second floor, and where many infected were already breaking the windows of the first floor. Seeing no hope to escape, and not wanting to end up like my wife,i made a final entry in my journal, pointed my shotgun to my head, and pulled the trigger.

this is a simple example of how peaple might have the will to survive and just kill themselfs later due to circumstanses.
As I said, a depression system in the game could do that for you. See your friend killed by a mob of zombies, and now your surrounded. Depression is high, and bang!

But I guess that might make people upset. I guess you could always bring a bottle of bleach with you for now.

that really depends on person to person, you can't guess how much symphatethic, or hempathetic someone will be, my characther could have had a secret that only his wife new, and now he was relieved she was dead, or he could have just accepted it, because he understands there is nothing he could do, and make a promise to go back and kill her later/burie her later, or just be a complete coward and shot his wife in the leg to slow her and leave her to death and escape,he would live with remorse, but wound't have enough courage to take his own life.

it depends on to many factors, and it is impossible to predict someones reaction to such event and make a pattern of it, it wound't work. It is best to leave it for role players to fell sad for the death of their loved ones, and eventually comit suicide, if it fits their characthers story.

there is simply peaple that don't fell hempathy, and or simpathy for nothing, they are called psichopaths.
What are we now, like one mod away from having Cutter as an occupation?
