This is the beginning of the end of Destiny 2's identity.
The Dev team are in a position to create new stories, new characters and new galaxies. Its Sci-Fi for god sake the possibilities are endless in this genre and it feels like they are just being lazy AF like they always are, instead of making something original they just went and got a licence to a bigger IP for cross over. Its feels cheap and embarrassing, it's an insult to the fans who have kept this game on life support for years.
Hell it would have made more sense for us to stumble upon a HALO and have an entire expansion around that then this.
What's next? A Marvel cross over? What about XUR's magical mystery my little pony cross over coming 2026 perhaps?
