This season's quest was really great, some of the best in a while, with a nice finale to tie things up before next season in a little over a month, with solstice to help tide us over until then.
As always, keep on keeping on, the changes are great, always improving the game!
In my 15 years+ gaming experience, Destiny 2 community remains one of the most toxic communities out there, due to lack of guidance, support and administration from your side. If you don't believe me, go through your own forum. You could try that, at least once in a while.
You could do the world a much greater good if you just focused on your jobs and tried to deliver a better gaming experience to your player base, rather than preaching to us and trying to squeeze our wallets even more.
If you're not sure where to start, I can give you some hints:
1) try to recycle less content from the vault and come up with some new things for the future seasons and expansions
2) fix the game breaking bugs faster (see side arm piercing mode example)
3) fix the PVP matchmaking and add more variety to it, like new maps
4) improve new players' experience; at the moment the game is very confusing for the new lights
5) take ownership of your forum, administrate it properly and give people some help and guidance, rather than just ignoring and only cherry-picking to answer some topics
Oh, and the fact that you have those in-game rewards to show how much people have donated, those emblems and whatnot that can clearly display in game who donated $10 and who donated $5000, it's just low, lowest of shaming tactics. How do you think a person who donated $10 feels seeing or playing along another that displays that they have donated $5000? No matter how big or small, help is help, but it seems the bigger the better, and better not be small.
They list bugs at the end of all twabs.
And there are no other sweeping changes to talk about, so they really have nothing to talk about besides charity events and whatnot.
Why should they not fix the game (which they already do) AND do charity?
And your list of fixes basically boil down to "Make the game good ples bonko"
Do they not already "Focus on their jobs"? Is a charity event "Squeezing money" when they do not make any of the money, as it is a charity?
Bungie does not really care about steam forums that much, the steam forums are really just a cesspool of toxicity that would get removed in any moderated area, Bungie just focuses on the Bungie Forums.
And the $5k emblem is for FUNDRAISING 5k, not donating it. There would be like 2 people with that emblem.
Emblems in general are not about "Shaming" others with worse emblems, it's about showing off. Should a person with a generic raid emblem be ashamed when the see someone with the Contest Mode emblem?
