Bright Engrams are basically worthless
It feels like %90 it's something you have already.

I feel like this happens to often, and provides little reason to care for them.
How about if you already have that item in your collections, in addition to that item, you should get a amount of bright dust relative to that items rarity.

Eververse never give duplicated items to players. 90% of chance will be something from past seasons and only to complete the collection. The other 2% will be something of wishlist and the other 8% is going to be Bright Dust for odd reason since Pathfinder rituals award 150 of Bright Dust everytime.
This Season I'm crossing my fingers to get Recticle Lock ornament but instead are just legendary emotes, ghost shells or ships.

Not once did you say "Engram", I am not talking about... I'm not even sure what your talking about, but you clearly aren't talking about the bright engrams.

This is about how the vast majority of the time when you redeem a bright engram you will get a item you already have available to you in collections.
Bright engrams aren't Eververse engrams? Odd...Bright Engrams

Upon opening a Bright Engram, players will acquire a randomized assortment of customization items. Opening Bright Engrams: Bright Engrams are placed in the Character's Engram Inventory and can be opened by visiting an Eververse Trading Co. storefront.

And again I was referrring about Eververse engrams or the so called Bright engram. It clearly changed names along the years but still the same thing. And it doesn not give the same item you have previously unlocked in the collection.

Would I have to record it for you to understand me?

I can assure you I also have this issue, it is most prevalent at the beginning of a new season/episode. Hot tip, the game actually tracks when you get new items.
