Bugged story mission encounter in "downfall"

The encounter at typhon imperator is bugged. You kill the enemies, deliver the ball, fight the devastator. If you die during the encounter on legendary nothing happens after the "kill the enemies" step. The ball doesn't spawn, or more accurately the heavies which make the ball spawn don't spawn. This happened to me twice, and it seems the only work around is to quit out of the mission and load the checkpoint to try again. I'm not that good, so the delay kind of sucks.

Nevermind, didn't realize you had to stand in the glowy circle to make the ball show up.
