Having crashes (BSOD) with i9-14900K and Windows 24H2.
Hello everyone,

Since updating from 23H3 to 24H2 a month ago, I’ve been experiencing constant crashes while playing games that use anti-cheat software, especially BattlEye.

I’ve tried everything:

Granting permissions to the anti-cheat folder
Allowing it through the firewall
Allowing it through Anti-virus
Uninstalling and reinstalling
Performing a clean reinstall of Windows (I've reinstalled Windows five times)
Updating the BIOS, Windows, and graphics drivers
Running Memtest86+

Despite all these attempts, the problem still persists.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution?

BSOD errors: BEDaisy.sys, APC_INDEX_MISMATCH, FLTMGR.sys, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, among others.

My PC specs:
CPU: i9-14900K
RAM: 64GB 6600MHz
Motherboard: ASUS Z790-A
PSU: 1500W
GPU: RTX 2070 SUPER
Storage: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB

My speculations that they are related something to the binary software and hardware, very internal.

It's not the game, it's your I9 chip

Try removing even registry entries of the suspect software and re-install. Sometimes theres tools available that will clean the registry of specific entries. A lot of times when you just uninstall software, it leaves registry and cache data in windows and unfortunately if you re-install same software it doesnt overwrite the corrupted entries. If that doesnt work, I would suspect your CPU or GPU is failing. Pretty common on the i-9 Processors because the coding was done incorrectly and it caused the pathways to overheat and melt. Intel refuses to refund people for it also. You could do a CPU Stress test and see if when it gets hot it gives you a blue screen also. that would confirm the CPU is failing (obviously).

I'm on a i9-14900HX and having no issues with Destiny and 24h2.

Maybe its a dying component?
I had a similar issue at the launch of Heresy when 24H2 released. My problem ended up being ICUE. I would start by disabling or uninstalling any third-party software you have,

I contacted Bungie technical support and other many game devs and they all say its Microsoft fault and 24H2 causing this problems.
