Drop rates for shiny brave weapons

Has anyone else been having really bad luck when it comes to shiny drops? I've opened over 200 chests and I haven't gotten a single shiny drop. I know the shiny versions are supposed to be rare but what even are the chances of them to drop?

I don't have a source, but I believe someone said the shiny drop chance is around 5%. From my experience, I managed to get 20 - 25 of them thus far after doing multiple runs, legend runs and legend farms, so that seems about right. (Annoyingly, I often will get shiny drops of weapons I am not attuned to way more than the other way around.)

Also, I tend to get way more from dumping the trophies at Shaxx's chest when I have over 100 - 150 of them. I will typically get one or two if I'm really lucky.

then I don't really understand on how I haven't gotten a shiny drop even after opening over 200 chests.

iirc; The "Shiny" Brave weapons drop rarely from normal, and are definitely more common on Legend but I don't remember what the drop rates actually are.

What I do know is that the drop rates on Legend appear to be the same on every 10 waves, so you can absolutely LFG a farm party with any half decent build.

I've been farming on legend for the past week and still haven't gotten a single shiny drop, whilst my own fire team gets multiple drops per day.
