Dungeon keys should ABSOLUTELY be included with the one time purchase of the relevant expansion. They already sell you battle passes, cosmetics and overpriced expansions. Asking us to pay 20 euros per dungeon is scummy, overpriced and not even closely justified. Especially when they take away content that me and lot's of others paid money for.
No, it's not worth it. It's greedy, it only confuses new players more, and it's simply insolent. The only thing that somehow justifies the extra cost is that they actualy make two new dungeons every year, it could justify for example a price increase for seasons, why didn't they do that? Oh, wait...
It's obvious to everyone that dungeons should be part of the seasons. It even makes a hell of a lot of sense. Season about Calus - dungeon about Calus, season about warmind - dungeon about warmind, season about Ahamkara - guess what the dungeon is about. Add to that armor that visually has nothing to do with dungeons. Why Daito armor in Prophecy, Tex Mechanica armor in Spire, Hakke armor in Duality? Think about Omolon and Veist armor in cash shop and you will understand everything, they just added armor originally made for Eververce into dungeons.. Concepts of Duality armor for example were floating around the internet months before the dungeon was even announced.
The whole thing is just an easy way to grab an extra 20 bucks from the player, nothing more.
Bungie sucks and they are getting worse with their pricing. Shame really OP bought in now when the game is basically coming to a close. I know for sure I wont be playing after final shape is finished. The ending to the light and dark saga is my cannon ending to destiny as a whole.
I'm not saying it's worth it at all, what I am saying is that on the basis of them providing more within dungeons and then doing all of that twice a year rather than once them charging more than they previously did is justified.
It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥, but unfortunately it's part of the game. They aren't gonna stop and we can't make them, as much as I wish we could. I'm sorry you're suffering from this game's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ monetization. I find the gameplay worth it, but this game isn't for everyone. I recommend you try and get the most fun you personally can out of your purchases.
Deluxe Packs include:
- That expansion
- All that years seasonal content and passes.
- That yrs dungeon key (Normally 2 Dungeons)
(Normally available for the currently active Annual Expansion)
But understand the frustration for new players, it's super confusing. Personally normally recommend the most recent Expansion, then upgrade to the Deluxe when you want (before a newer expansion drops)
After that, pick the things you want and wait for sales.
:D
I think the whole thing needs cleaning up with bungie releasing a 99 Dollars everyhing included thingy so people like op can "premium buy it" and get the stuff
dont use kingquin or any grey market resellers easy way to get scammed and ur ♥♥♥♥ refunded when they find out the keys were bought with stolen credit cards like everything else on kingquin and g2a, use actual legit resellers like cdkeys or greenman
