im making a warlock ionic tracer build but dont know what weapons would pair good with it.
Anyone have an recommendations on weapons and how to get them?

i got coldheart im trying to get the catalyst for it. i just have issues with getting special ammo to drop. Also is there any good legendary weapons that are good also?

Smgs are almost always good tbh, maybe an arc lmg for heavy?
If you mean a replacement instead of coldheart, if you have the Ikelos smg red borders, voltshot is pretty good on it still. Any voltshot weapon is good for an arc build

Keep in mind that special ammo is really only going to drop reliably with a primary ammo being used. Special/heavy guns can drop ammo but it's very rare by comparison. I've tried trace rifle heavy builds (prometheus lens) and usually find keeping ammo up is difficult even with finders.

With the fragment 'Spark of discharge' any arc weapon would work pretty well. Pick what you prefer tbh. If you have Warlord's Ruin, 'Indebted Kindness' is good. For primaries I like running 'Sweet Sorrow' personally, but the 'Ikelos_SMG' would probably be the best choice outside of Nightfalls.

You also have the option to run a mod that gives you ammo when you do a finisher.

i got all the ammo mods for special ammo but i get heavy over anything and ill have to look into the sweet sorrow
