How can you even get the event hoverboard?

Whats the easiest way to complete this quest for the event? i did some nightfall and some pvp and i am at 100 out of 1200. How can it be done?


Another question, if i start a new character is my vault shared with other characters?

If you could get in right after reset with a team and get in the top 10% score, you have it. Otherwise, I would say do the focused events, watch the progress, once you see who is winning, join with that class, do that three times and you have it.

I didnt get the last part that you said, what do you mean join with that class if its winning?

Take the medal card for Lost sector. It is easy on legendary.
You can also connect your acount to twitch and watch a stream for diamond medal.

look for the team with the most medals that is likley to win the event and then participate with that cahracter.
or wait until your preferrred character is the winning team or likley winning and play it near the end timer.

do that 3 times.

other ways it is more or less impossible.
there is not real route to gain 1200 medals.

after 2 weeks iw as at around 600 . no chance that way, but do take cards and complete them. it helps overall score.

I didnt get the last part that you said, what do you mean join with that class if its winning?

Check who is winning the focused event, in this case it's the Titans, so you would join the focused event as a Titan to get the winners package.

Easiest by far is the top 10%, simply load into the nightfall solo and spam 'Master At Arms' and emote finishers, easy top 10% in about 30 minutes tops. Use an MG to make heavy sprees less ammo demanding

Do the focus activity. You can get it in a day or two of play. Seems Titans are dominating so hopefully you have a titan you can join in on.

check which class is winning the activity and hop into that class and play the focus activity then get off and come back on and get the grey engram

Is there some cooldown from winning the focus to earning the package? I've won a handful of focus activities and done the activity at least 3 times for the wins, but no luck.

I have found that at times I needed to leave the game and then return, look in your inventory for the packs. Make sure you have an empty medallion case before opening one.

I just checked back in (after roughly an hour long break) and I still don't have it even though I was on my Warlock the whole time during the Focus, and Warlocks are currently the focus winner. I've seen a few people having issue with this on Bungie's forum too, but there's no known bug report iirc. I hope it's just me doing something wrong, cause I doubt I'm going to get the other two objectives done at this rate.

I don't know, my experience was that I missed out on one and it might have been because I waited a bit too long to join. I got my first two on the first week where Hunters had it, I finished it the second week using a Titan.
