i dont know why but in the newest update my text chat has dissapearred

Hello, I thought I was the only one who had the problem. I don't have a text chat anymore after the update and the voice chat doesn't work either, my HS is not recognized at all, I can't even send a message to my friends! I don't know what Bungie did, I rebuilt Windows myself, then reloaded Destiny 2, but there's still a problem.

It depends on what country you live in whether you have text or voice chat in game.

Sorry, but I've never heard of such a measure! Before the update of the game, I also had in-game chat and voice chat!

Hi ive tried everything but this new update killed text chat for 2 of my friends i hope it gets fixed in the next update and i tried reinstalling it

Often, when one thinks the problem is with most others, it's actually them that is the problem. I have mostly good experience with others, I keep both text and voice activated.

I said from experience, your experience doesn't stop mine from being true, just like mine doesn't make yours not true, everyone has different opinions, i am more of a solo player, i group only when it is needed, but my experiences when i have needed to group up has been mostly negative, players can be childish, controlling, thinking their way works better, cause it works for them and leave when proven wrong and/or when things don't go their way.

So, i tend to just stick to myself, less stress, less drama and far less tantrums.

The thing is, I was not referring to experience so much as saying that often when one person is saying many are bad, they end up being the catalyst that cause the friction to begin with. If people are leaving, maybe you're the baddie. That "proven wrong" thing makes it look like you're a controlling type that has to have it your way.

I mostly play solo, but when I am in a group, most times people have been OK, some super nice. Sure, once in a while one is not that pleasant to be around, but those are the exception, maybe I don't upset them?
