Can anybody help me with this ?

I am new to this game, I am so confused about how fireteam finder works, on one hand when people joins my team and I press the summon fire team, screen loads and I am back to orbit screen.. on other hand when people joins me and I simply try to start a quest, they don't appear on quest launch screen, wtf is goin on.. what I am missing here ?

Fireteam finder only put you and other people in a fireteam, it doesn't start the actual activity/quest you want to do. When you successfully summoned them (you can check the fireteam by looking at the top right corner of your screen when you're on Orbit), you can then start the actual activity from Destination menu.

Nothing the game is broken. Has been for a while. You picked the worst time in D2 history to start this game. Used to be amazing. Tons of issues and bugs and Bungie fired most of the company. Its lost over 50% of its player base in the last 45 days. Probably wont be fixed for a long time if ever. In entirety, the game is at its end. On a brighter note, they are pretty much giving stuff away in game now and the newest expansion is now on $50 instead of $100.

Why it can be like other games... people join your team and you start a mission, thats its, why it's so complicated..

You're so right, this game is dying rapidly. Fireteam finder is almost always empty for me in every activity, I'll be lucky to get more than one listing, and joining them only works sometimes. It's so heartbreaking to see what this game has become.
