Avalon, the Vexcalibur mission, is an Exotic mission available through the Exotic mission rotator. It is not a dungeon.

So I need to wait till it rotates to find a 6 man team for the raid?

You can solo it, but I find it easiest when I bring a friend.

It is not a raid. I think you can do it with 3 people tops.

As Porkhammer said Avalon is not a raid, nor is it a dungeon, it is an Exotic mission with a 3-man fireteam size max.
