And no, you won't be able to play the old campaigns (Red war, Curse of Osiris, Warmind and Forsaken), they were removed from the game at the same time as the Beyond Light DLC was released. Reasons - too large game size, engine update, the need to test old content after each new update, stability of game servers and all that kind of stuff.
So I should feel "lucky" enough to have played everything until Forsaken... lol
Anyway that's a real s**t. I mean, what's the excuse? How can a new player understand the lore/events by playing only the latest expansions?
It really drives me nuts. And I remember that they talked about the vault s**t before, but as soon as I saw that "timeline" I thought they went back and gave us the whole package.
The thing that makes me even more sad is that we PAYED for that content, and now it is gone for good.
Well played...
Anyway thanks for the explaination, I was feeling dumb lol
EDIT: just to be sure... Beyond Light is still playable?
lol they messed it up, nice to hear...
Thanks tho.
Just why...
You might get lil mission's, but all the real main stuff is roughly at Stasis start off and going forward. So there be a reason on expansion buying.
