there is a reason why there is a hold to apply function in Destiny for activating harmonizers, dismantling, infusing, etc

they're kinda worthless anyway, there are so many you need to get all guns, certainly from perspective of not having grinded all seasons, at least you're one step closer.
The game has a lot of issues balancing this out, especially considering someone might start playing the game now, and has to catch up.

Imagine that.
Dev's either don't care, ignore it or just consider it a money item. Or all of the above.

There is no way to contact Bungie regarding this.

Once an item is used, it cannot be refunded. You will either need to continue working on unlocking the patterns through drops or wait until more Deepsight Harmonizers are available.

There's a reason it's a "hold to confirm". If those 3 or so seconds weren't enough time to realize your mistake, you just gotta eat the loss. Bungie can't give freebies out, it'd be like feeding pigeons. Give one harmonizer refund, then suddenly everyone and their mom "accidentally used" theirs.

PC players have to suffer this insufferable crap because console players with their sausage fingers kept deleting stuff without wanting to, a plague every console port suffers from (Metal Gear Solid 5 for example), and yet people STILL MANAGE to delete or use the wrong things.

Whats next, 2 factor authentication you need to confirm on your phone, because some dumb ****** cant control their fingers????

dont really get how console players are to blame for this, it's literally just a fail safe to make sure people have enough time to make sure they want to preform a specific action

Of course it's due to console, are you completely daft? What keys is binded to what button on a gamepad or similar, is not necessarily always guaranteed to be the same button, due to there being a number of different gamepads. All keyboards and mice are guaranteed to perform much the same way, mouse button 1,2,3,4,5 etc and mousewheel is always the same - outside of some mice where user can rebind any buttons. Same for keyboards, qwerty is always the same, regardless of keyboard size.
The really annoying thing is when we have to do a lot of these to confirm, ie selling or dismantling. I once had to make a custom bind to automatic dismantle an item i had thousand of to get shards, was one of those events. Would have taken hours of painful manual labour.

"Hold to delete" is just a regular UI/UX safeguard. Because even on PC it can always happen that someone might accidently try to delete an item they don't want to delete. It's also the same reason why Exotics take longer to delete than legendaries.

Huh? They have added multiple seasons worth of craftables via the exptic missions.

F2players always have had a restricted path, thats nothing new

F2P Raids. Dares. Exotic Mission Rotator. All of these have craftable weapons and drop red borders. And they should all be available for F2P players (unsure about the Rotator).
