The monetization is getting worse and worse each year.
Price increases for seasons and dlc's, event passes, dungeon passes and mediocre content drops that give us basically nothing but revamped activities that reward the same 10 reskinned weapons. And beyond that most work probably goes into the Eververse store (we even get a recommendations page now ... let's go:popular:).

Where is the love for the game? Why is Bungie always acting like their community is so important to them only to drip feed them mediocre content with a focus on emptying their wallets?

I love Destiny, but it's been a long time since I let it go...

That's what happen when community don't have the g**s to not buy anything when devs release garbage updates over and over

@OP, talk is cheap. If you don't like it, don't give them your money.

Witch Queen was an expansion where Bungie basically made a full-fledged, competent story campaign for the first time in the long history of Destiny 2. It was a campaign that was made for hardcore Destiny fans. It respected their ability to solve raid-like puzzles, it respected their knowledge of the game's lore.

The rest of the content of the expansion was more or less normal, a beautiful location, a couple of strikes, some exotic quests and a new raid. Community very warmly welcomed Vow of the Disciple raid, but I could not stand it, although the battle with the final boss is very impressive.

But after the release of the latest Root of Nightmares raid, I reconsidered my opinion of VotD. Heck, at least VotD was actually a raid and not a braindead eazy handled for casual players who can show up there with two primary and a machine gun and still beat that embarrassment. RoN honestly just killed all desire in me to play Destiny 2, it's was so boring, easy and uninteresting.

Here we go again, I couldn't help myself and started to crap on Lightfall again. So yeah, Witch queen was pretty good.

Witch queen had a fantastic story tbf, I'm usually kinda iffy about the stories Destiny has to offer but it was a fun one. Also the exotic quests were really cool. Plus they added legendary mode to the missions AND the unique enemies like the light bearers... yeah I'd highly recommend it.

Lightfall though? Not a chance. Absolute scam. Terrible story, awful characters, bland environment AND it's more expensive than Witch Queen? Hell nah... Strand is fun though.

When they released it did they do anything for deserving any trust?
Did they fix the servers and the bugs?
Did they do any decent balancement?

How much time would I take for getting the weapons and the armors replacing the one I had to abandon because of their garbage update?

Did they make it so I don't take weeks for getting a weapons I want and with decent perks?

I did spent weeks for getting Biting Wind with explosive head perk for replacing my no turning back but I never got it and so, tired of doing the same garbage mission with a boss that has annoying invincibility phases that is usefull just for stretching the broth of a bossfight that has nothing interesting or challenging... I quitted

What about the fact the I wanna play only when I'm in the mood of playing and not having to deal with time limited passes? Do they put most of the stuff I like in seasonal passes that I won't buy for sure cause I am the one that have to decide when to play instead of having to play otherwise I lose the seasonal stuff?

Can they assure me that I can take my time for playing and getting the stuff I want? How can I know that they won't be removing my equipment once again? Is there anything that guarantee it 100%?

What about becoming able to play the way I like once again? How much time would I take? Will it be fast or tedious?

I get the feeling nothing they do can ever be "deserving of any trust" in your opinion.

What problems with the servers are you talking about? Sure we get a few days every few weeks where the connection with the servers get a little iffy, but it doesn't bother me at all.

What bugs? I can't recall any bugs in living memory. Sure I've not seen all of the content, but I can attest that all of the free-to-play content at least is quite bug-free.

Actually there's just one thing they can do but then they wouldn't be allowed of doing bs without facing consequences ever again

They simply are horrible. Also there aren't european servers, so...

Crashes, getting expelled from groups, starting a mission with a party and then one of us having to reboot the game for actually join the mission...

oh yes was good but Bungo removed the strand subclass of that DLC just to sell lightcrap
if you want a proof look at the simbols of the throne world armors are strand simbols and the color of the expansion is green like strand
was decent but could been even better with strand on that expansion

this expansion seems like a testing field about how much is the minimun content and low quality of history that the people will allow and still pay the price a of a complete new triple A game
destiny expansion excluding house of wolves and forsaken alwais have been overpriced MVPs (minimum viable products ) and each year is getting worse and the anual content that was included on expansions now is spliced and cost 120 dollars-euros + more mircrotransactions every year

is a shame that the people are paying the same than when vicarious visions worked on this game too for lower quality content and tons of reskins or reissue of vaulted content

yes, this game is just a marketing experiment, behavior we are used to from Ubisoft and EA or other developer studios/publishers. Because even if the D2 Devs tried, there is no quality in D2. And we all know it is just the MINIMUM they were able to do.

Servers are just for rewards (the fact that PvP is Peer2Peer and not on Servers is a scandal by itself), weapons and even content is just a Reskin-Fest over and over again.

In Comparison to REALLY bad Titles on the Market with Season Passes and/or Looter Shooters the Quality in D2 is always at the lowest point: Division 2 Live Service offers more variety in content, Sea of Thieves offers more seasonal content, Warframe gets a million new Game Modes and Weapons each year... Why do those mentioned Trash Titles (which of course come with their own issues) offer more than we get in our 99.99 package each year?

I didnt pay 99.99 there and get more in the end? How is that possible?

Bungie sells out on the PreOrders and then they go down the most lazy route.

We must change our behavior and give them less money! We all preordered and were hyped for something that is nothing new or innovative in the end. This Reskinned Content Simulator is our fault: They cash in on FOMO, not on Quality!

forsaken was the proof that the only way to make bungo deliver a great expansion is the comunity leaving but i doubt that they can even do that again vithout vicarious visions carrying the development
and yes pay the prices of this game and not even have dedicated servers for PVP matches is a shame but the comunity allowed that

and i play FFXIV and warframe and both games are not just better MMOS ( warframe is not a MMO but have a lot of MMO elements not like destiny that have none ) and better RPGs with more variety (i like to say that instead of fantasy of power destiny is a game about fantasy of choice) the companies behind not threat their users like idiots bungie has become a pretty bad and greedy company with good PR bullshitters nothing more

this is a real shame, i really loved Destiny before everything became woke. Before they killed off all of my fav characters and my fav content... when it was just a normal game with 1-2 DLCs.
