ST0MP-EE5 are dead... or maybe dodging is?

I know a nerf to the exotic is needed, and has been for a long time because it has dominated the Hunter exotic PVP meta, but there is a much better and far less lazy way of doing it than nullifying the exotic when the dodge isn't charged... it's called Surplus.

Have the stat bonus to sprint, slide and jump be tied to the number of charged abilities.

There are other exotics, predominantly on other classes, that have mobility stat bonuses that are passive, which ST0MP-EE5 were, but now you will have to either not dodge or get no benifit from the exotic.

How is it that THE class that's supposed to be ALL ABOUT mobility is getting their mobility nerfed even more. Hunter is the slowest with PRE-nerf ST0MP-EE5 already.

The purpose of the nerf was to accomodate the vertically challenged controller players yet Titans and Warlocks can dash around faster than any Hunter on the ground AND in the air already, why are they not being addressed also? How many times does Bungo need to dunk on Hunters mobility?

Looks like I will be playing Titan or Warlock come season 21.

In the latest TWID (22/11/23)[www.bungie.net] Bungie has Removed requirement to have full class ability energy to benefit from the movement bonuses.

Literally knew this would flop back in May. Maybe I knew what I was talking about.

I know right??? I don't get why that was the excuse they used to nerf the exotic, they could have literally just mentioned that they wanted to diversify the exotic pvp meta.

I don't think they play Hunter. Hunter is almost always the first to get dunked on. It's rare that we are useful in Raids, let alone objective based PVP.

Tbh yeah, I normally argue that all the classes are relatively equal with how good they are but its really starting to feel like hunters are falling quite far behind now.

Nah I haven't taken off my ST0MP-EE5 since forsaken and no amount of nerfs can change that.

What are you smoking, Hunters have some of the highest DPS supers, They sat at the top with each 3.0 subclass update.

meh they didnt do anything anyway
you get more sprint speed from MIDA and the jump height just gives the enemy more time to kill you in the air. actually a detriment to run them.

nevertheless, idk why hunters are the least mobile class. titan gets an insanely high jetpack with shield bash for distance. warlocks get icarus dash and phoenix dive. they can both door hover easily.
but hunter? nah too mobile, better nerf

my guy you had auto reload grapple with the highest DPS in the game far out damaging starfire warlocks. you still have invis which is just cheese in high end content. You have tether for debuff, you have star eaters. So please dont lie and say that youre not useful in raids because you always have been.

titans are getting a nerf to their melee abilities to counter their movement, warlocks already had their dash nerfed.

Hunter is all about movement we need to put stats in mobility for our dodge, ST0MP-EE5 dominate hunter exotic PVP meta because they help hunters zoom around, other Hunter PVP exotics pale in comparison. Which is partly why it's getting nerfed I suspect.

They have options. Hunters have to settle.

I wouldn't mind if the other exotics were at least comparible in usefulness in PVP but this isn't even close. The next best thing is probably Wormhusk but that's just a boring crutch that requires no skill which doesn't lend itself to mobility of any kind.

Maybe the mobility stat needs a buff at higher values. That would probably help diversity the Hunter exotic PVP meta.
