I read somewhere Bungie wanted to abandon D2/D3 in favor of Marathon but then Sony said no.
Right, thanks to Activision we got Witch Queen /s
The ONLY thing I am thankful to Activision for is, Destiny 2, Bungie would have never done it and the game would have stayed console only.
Bungie is not great, but Activision and Blizzard absolutely were worse.
Nothing in Eververse is required, you can ignore it, so why all the cries about it?
The problem with Activision was pushing unfinished product out poorly done. The problem with Bungie was they didn't buckle down and get the job done in a timely manner, ending in Activision forcing them to push poorly done work out. I don't think anyone was blame free on that mess.
Personally, I like Witch Queen more, Forsaken is a solid second place for me.
It has a slew of problems, and it's definitely impacting an otherwise really enjoyable experience.
