Is the downfall mission bugged or am i just really dumb?

Ive done the Sparrow escape part twice and a moment after the ghost says "You've made it" i just die. i dont know of any other way to escape but the death doesnt feel like a bug death.

just dealt with this, i was able to finish the mission by stopping my sparrow when your ghost says "youve made it"

It feels like the TFS update did something with it....with my Titan before the update, I just kept going after Ghost said "You've made it" and the mission completed as it should; last week, I did the same with my Warlock and kept dying, I stopped when he said it but the mission didn't complete and I was just sat there... in the end, I turned around and started back up the ramp and it then completed
