Enigma Protocol Power Level Requirement?

The mission says it's power capped at 2005 but what does that even mean? What level should I be to try it? Did several attempts but we weren't getting anywhere and I was gettin one shot practically everywhere.

Your power level is at the top right side of your character sheet. If that number is lower than what is recommended for said event, enemies will be far more challenging. Some people like doing activities bellow power level for added difficulty.

The power cap means that your power is capped off at that value when attempting the mission. Therefore reaching that power before doing the mission will offer the easiest experience. That doesn't mean the mission will be easy of course as the cap might still put to at a power disadvantage compared to the enemies, but that it is as easy as it gets at the cap.

So basically, I shouldn't do the mission until my power level is 1990 or higher. Seems a bit silly in comparison to previous Strikes and such that tell you what's required rather than "yeah sure do this at 0 power level." =)

It depends on how much of a challenge you want. Elitists breeze through content 20 power levels above them. I don't know the power metrics for anything above that. It's very possible it caps at some point or just keeps going.
