Do I have to collect all the Prismatic fragments again if I start a new character?

I know I have to replay the campaigns again, but are the (very grindy) fragments avaiable with a new character if I already got them with my main?

same here, i would like to know about that , because waste so many time for that and u need to do pale heart for the dual exotic too

You don't, you will still need to get the aspects from the story missions but the fragments will be auto unlocked

so should i play it on legend or normal ? and the exotic for it i can farm from lost sector ? i want to speed run on my other 2 character but waste so many times if i play on legend

You will get all the fragments but you'll have to do the capaign and post game missions to unlock the base abilities.

you can get new exotics from rahool after reaching level 17 using 1 exotic engram and 1 exotic cipher.
i dont think they drop in lost sectors. i dont know if they drop from vex incursions or not.

not worth doing legend if you've done it once. its only worth doing to get the 1960 armor but power level is shared across all characters now so you only need it once.

after beating the witness on your second character, beat the witness with the 3rd character before you do those light and dark quests because then itll complete them on both characters since they're on the same quest step.

Fragments stay between characters. To get the remaining aspects/abilities though, you will still need to play the campaign and post-stiry missions.
