That's not how maths works. 90rpm = 1.5 shots per second, which is a 0.66666 second delay between shots. This means it has a 0.67ttk, nowhere near 0.3. This can be verified on a website like d2foundry. A 0.3ttk would result from a 180rpm hand cannon 2 tapping

It's the primary way to judge a player. Your grinding for pinnacle weapons means nothing, and neither does your quickplay KD. Anyone can sit at the back of the map with a scout rifle and occasionally get kills, netting high KD for a low skill. You havent touched comp since 2020, and your trials kd reads 0.4. As far as i can see there is only one player with the name Dedprice, and if the stat card i'm reading is not yours feel free to link your TR or CR and prove me wrong. However, you are complaining that a relatively well balanced exotic is unfair, and insisting that a bad weapon is good. If you had good movement, you would use a bow. If you had good aim, you would use a sniper. Only those who have neither would gravitate towards a lower skill gimmick pick that loses to primaries and needs a setup to oneshot.

It's not really slept on in pvp, it's just that the gun is sluggish/slow and has a very low ammo pool.. Requiring a setup on top of it to make it work, easiest being empowering rift..

There's just better weapons in the game that are more forgiving, eriana isn't by any means a bad weapon but it's not really that good either.. Kind of like a jack of all trades master of none situation. There's a reason after all why eriana isn't even in the top 110 of weapons used in pvp according to destiny tracker (Which also comes from the fact that many newer pvp players don't have the gun and don't want to spend their ciphers on it from the kiosk either).

Also, unlocking the catalyst of eriana takes forever if you don't have the catalyst omega boost or whatever it is and even then.. It still takes absurdly long to unlock the catalyst which you actually want on it if you were to main the weapon...

It's a fun off meta weapon but not really ideal in the current sandbox..

the only thing i find slow on it is its reload which absolutely pains me but you get 6 shots without catalyst and i believe 2 or 3 per special pick up. if you land your shots its ammo count is a guaranteed 1-2 kills per every 1-2 bullets. Its not in meta because it takes yes, the special slot, and yes, the exotic slot, when players want a sniper, or shotgun for comfort. Also meta shouldnt be defined entirely by destiny trackers meta list. thats simply most used. It doesnt really define meta. 340 pulse, 140 HC, really the RPM and Frame define it. theres plenty of weapons that can roll better than whats on the top 10, if top 5 of the meta list, if even top 1. (immortal) and a build only makes something stronger and cant be listed as meta, as you said, because it takes more time that it is to just simply have the gun or not.

The reload is indeed slow compared to most other weapons where as a bow for example is pretty much instant, maybe 1/2 seconds at best.. Eriana's reload can also be bypassed by using a ophidian aspects, hence why eriana works really well on a warlock although every class has something going for it that makes it work.

"If you land your shots"... That's the thing, you need to actually land your shots which isn't going to every single time making it a very unforgiving weapon.. Even high skilled pvp players who've been using it occasionally miss a few shots here and there, missing shots with eriana is going to put you at a big disadvantage due it's low ammo pool. Yes it can 1 tap in certain situations and you can get around it most of the times if your aim is godlike, but either missing a shot or not getting the one tap mostly results in you dying from another player.. Not only that but anyone who closes the gap can straight up murder you due to eriana being so slow, a simple shotgun/smg push is enough to put you in the ground... Especially if it's a titan running in with a shotgun + shoulder charge as there's no counterplay to it if you aren't prepared (Unless the titan misses somehow due to lag/bad hit registration etc)...

Tracker is just a indication of weapons being popular right now due to the power/ease of use they have... And even if it's not actually accurate, eriana is still nowhere to be found in the top 110 weapons shown on tracker.. Simply because nobody uses it and there being options in the game currently that are just way better.. Again, not saying that eriana is a actually bad weapon.. Imo it's just mediocre/average, it can work but has a really high skill ceiling.. If you really want to murder other players and ruin their day, simply play with a bow + quickswap mod and a handcannon or smg.. Either that or turn yourself to the darkside by using le monarque, but only if you're good with bows otherwise those won't help you out either.. Or another easy mode option currently, use graviton lance.. Graviton lance is absolutely busted right now..
