Which version to buy.

Hello i would like to start playing D2 but i am confused by the many expansions/DLC this game has.Is Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (2024) enough to acesss all of the content avaliable?

Either Light and Darkness Collection, either Legacy Collection 2024 with Final Shape + Annual pass, whichever is currently on sale at a greater discount. But even that won't be all, you need another 4000 silver to buy two dungeon keys. Then it will be all the content in the game.

legacy is every dlc except for the most recently released one. it includes five years of dlc, which is four campaigns, two subclasses, a lot of raids and dungeons (endgame team missions), tons of sidequests, and lets you earn lots of unique weapons and armors. if you want the whole deal, you'll also want the final shape DLC, as current DLCs provide the fastest leveling, and (usually) the most relevant gear. also, the annual pass opens up this year's (feb 2024 to feb 2025) seasonal stuff, which are like mini temporary dlcs that have their own smaller stories, missions, and gear sets
