Vendor Quest Icon bug

Like i wrote in the top. tower vendor icons blink all but when you interact they have nothing for you ! yahool banshee zalanda and a weird quest marker with with pinned quest leads into ikoras direction but when i enter her domain it points into she has nothing for you either unlocked everything offering no exotic quest and the hawk lady neither. uninstalled deleted every folder reinstalled but cannot get rid of it. if anybody knows a workaround thanks

They have unfortunately been doing that for ages now.
There is no way to stop them.

It's annoying but Bungie have shown no inclination to fix it in the last several updates so it looks like something that will be permanently with us until the game retires. The Quest log quite often does the same thing where it is constantly flashing even though there are no unread quests on there

The quest log flashing is new, it's due to Xur's strange coin buff, it is taking a slot up each time, invisibly, and it is not clearing when it expires.

Has been a bug since the release of D2. Bungie never fixed it. Mine is stuck on The Drifter and Ikora this season even though they have nothing for me. And its been like that since forever. Each and every season or expansion there's always been one vendor or another or multiple that glitches out. I understand that maybe there might be some conflicts with Ikora this season as she is an actual questgiver but the Drifter has been nothing but a placeholder for years now (BECAUSE GAMBIT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKS). It's always been pretty much random, I've had all vendors in the Tower glitch out on me.

Don't forget that not redeemed engrams or reputation rewards will make vendors to blink. Zavala, Dredgen and Shaxx are yelling at me 24/7 to redeem all engrams but I leave them alone whenever I run out of glimmer since each engram = 1k glimmer.

However what have been bothering is this new system in Echoes episodes. Every episode will lock seasonal rank untill the next one comes and then will reset any progression you had in you rank. Although Account career and emblems can continue to track seasonal rank no matter what it happen so if the next episode reset my actual 172 rank back to 150 it will continue to blink the Orbit screen in Season tab.
