Why do people constantly kill you in one shot always in multiplayer
Ive played a few multiplayer games and i found in each one I instantly get killed with one shot? Its no fun whatsoever, some player jump out of nowhere they take about 4 or 5 shots from my gun, somehow survive and kill you in one!? Is it all about 1 shot super rifles in multiplayer cos thats really boring and would put me off playing multiplayer

The gun and perk matter a lot. Snipers are nerfed so hard right now. Stay with your team and put them in front of you. Iron Banner is really good training for teams right now. remember what and who killed you. Try to use the load out that the lead players use and then add to it. Use a pulse rifle until you find a gun that works.
Thanks but i just want to get into a game and have fun and not think about what gun i should use, that takes the fun out of it. It should be balanced more in my opinion so that you dont get situations like that all the time
op what is your resilience at?

i managed to win a few games but i find some games are so unbalanced, you can shoot some guy 15 times they somehow survive then with computer aided accuracy jump up and kill you with one shot....not fun at all when it happens in some games One shot kills ruins the fun factor when it keeps happening in game, if less of the one shot sniping so much more fun. They need to balance it better and not allow these one shot kills as much, see how good the players really are then without it and perhaps narrow down the amount of campers using it

See the issue here is that Destiny 2 is a Looter Shooter and thinking about what gun to bring into a fight is the essence of this game.

Would a sniper rifle be worth using if it could not one shot?

I personally have come to loathe all gaming snipers in pvp over the years, because for the most part the only real counter is another sniper. However the fix for destiny will not be to remove the ability to one shot.

The point of special ammo is to be stronger but limited. If it had to 2 shot headshot it would be worthless.

Snipers just have a really high skill ceiling and reward so when a new player joins (any pvp game) and fights a skilled player, its not gonna be fun no matter the loadout.

Also, it is much more skillful to use a sniper than a auto or whatever. Although I hate snipers as it basically tells everyone else "you have to play my way", they aint like aping with a shotgun and take brainpower. An auto or smg allows you to miss. Thats why low fire rate weapons normally have faster ttk because each shot is a bigger risk.

Dont accuse them of computer aim assist when everyone gets the same benefit. (minus pc vs console, but thats why they have separate pvp pools)
